기존의 CATV망을 이용하여 기존의 전화모뎀보다 최고 100배,ISDN 보다  약 15배 빠른 인터넷 접속을 하여 초고속 인터넷 통신,화상회의, 데이터전송, 그외 다양한 멀티 미디어  응용프로그램들을  가능케 하는 새로운 개념의 제품입니다. SuperLink 2000은 6Mhz 채널 대역폭 상에서 최대 40Mbps의 속도로 데이터를 전송하면 전화 접속의 도움 없이 CATV망을 이용한 통신을 합니다. 또한 PC와의 인터페이스용으로 10Base-T를 사용하므로 케이블 모뎀과 허브 연결시 하나의 SuperLink 2000으로 여러 대의 PC를 서로 연결할 수 있어 소규모의 사무실 등에서 경제적으로 사용할 수 있습니다. SuperLink 2000은 MCNS(Multimedia Cable Network System)규격을 준수하며 MCNS 규격을 사용하는 모든 헤드엔드 장비와의 호환성을 보장합니다.
