BeOS 5.0 개인 사용자 버전.

이 BEOS의 특징 중 하나는 운영체제이지만 윈도에서 프로그램 추가/삭제가 가능하다는 거죠.

BEOS는 64비트 운영체제인데 윈도나 리눅스와는 달리 처음부터 텍스트 모드(CUI)가 아닌 그래픽 모드(GUI)로 개발되었기에 멀티미디어나 그래픽에 강하다는군요. 확인은 못 해봤어요. 지원되는 하드웨어나 소프트웨어가 매우 열약하여 묻혀 버린 비운의 OS... 소문으론 외국에선 개발이 다시 진행되고 있다 하는군요...

주의 : 윈도 95, 98이 아니면 설치되지 않는다는 소문이.......

리스트는 일반적인 하드웨어에 대한 지원 현황일 뿐이다. 목록에
없다고 설치가 안될 것이라는 상상은 접어주기 바란다. 설치중 장애를
일으키는 부품은 그래픽카드와 사운드카드가 대부분을 차지한다.

그밖의 하드웨어가 문제를 일으키는 경우는 확률상 매우 낮다.
